Well the start of my week really sucked, but I finished it off strong. After feeling just bagged on Tuesday I had a good spin Wed am (thanks Lori!) and a good swim that night. It was my week to work 10 hour shifts, so fitting in training can be tough. Add to that Clark leaving on Friday morning, and I was really fighting to get things in. I ended up running my hills on a COLD Thursday night after we went out for dinner (Clark was packing, I might as well run, right?) - and they PA-1121-02H adapter went suprisingly well. I didn’t freeze to death, especially after about 3 repeats. I got up early on Friday am to go for a swim before dropping Clark at the airport (he had a few things to do) and my 3k was not too bad. It’s still strange swimming so slow for so long, but I think it’s doing me good. I hit the gym after dropping Clark off, then it was spin class that night. Other than not being able to see (I can’t hear so I need to see) it was a GREAT class - I seemed to have the legs to go….my heart rate reached 175 bpm at one point, but I seem to recover well PA-1121-02H adapter between sets. Suki and I watched the Olympics for a while after that, then I decided to SLEEP. It was so nice…no alarm, just sleep. I slept until 10am (I was tired, and I knew it). Got up and went for a run. I had tired legs from the night before, but still ran a little harder than I had intended. Oh well. Later in the afternoon I went and picked up my “training wheels” from Dave. I am so worried about wrecking my other ones…then of course I had to go and try them (it was so nice and sunny out). Ok, so it was -3 degrees, but I put on 2 pairs of pants, 1 pair of cycling shorts, Clark’s booties, 3 shirts, and PA-1121-02H adapter a jacket. I also had a touque, neckwarmer and sunglasses…I was ready to roll……SO glad I went, it was awesome. Love the new wheels, I don’t worry about a thing! Tocca is such an awesome ride too! Nothing against spin class, but I love riding outside! I’m planning a long ride and run tomorrow, as long as it warms up to at least -5. So I just missed 1 run, and 1 gym workout this week. I think it will be ok!
